The SureFire EP7 Sonic Defenders Ultra are a lightweight and effective hearing protection system that protects your hearing against Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) without compromising your ability to hear normal sounds or conversations in noisy environments. Safe sound levels are able to pass through into the ear canal while potentially harmful noises are reduced via the proprietary noise reducing filter. They include attached filter caps that can be inserted for additional protection when hearing ambient sounds or conversations isn’t critical. Sonic Defenders are made from a soft, durable, hypoallergenic polymer that provides all-day comfort and extends product life.

What Size Sonic Defender Should I Get?
SureFire’s research has shown that medium is the preferred size for most customers. You can determine your size by measuring the concha bowl of the ear from top to bottom. If the measurement is less than 1 inch, select small. If the measurement is 1 inch, select medium. If the measurment is greater than 1 inch, select large.
What Model Sonic Defender Should I Get?
First you should decide if you prefer the flanged stem (EP3, EP4) or the foam tip (EP7). Flanged stems are easier to clean and insert/remove. Foam tips have improved noise reduction and can be more comfortable to some. If you prefer flanged stem but have shallow ear canals, select the EP3.
